Our Law office, directed by Lawyer Dr. Ümit Kilinç and his team, is located in Strasbourg, a city also known as the “capital of Europe” as it hosts the European Court of Human Rights (ECHR), the Council of Europe and the European Parliament. Former case processing lawyer at the European Court of Human Rights, Dr. Ümit Kilinç was in charge of the instruction and examination of cases by assisting the judges of the Court in the judicial treatment of applications and in the drafting of decisions and judgments adopted by the ECHR.
From the introduction of the application to the delivery of the judgment, the case processing lawyers actively participate in the judicial process of the European Court of Human Rights and thus have a high degree of analysis and legal technicality.
In addition, Dr. Ümit Kilinç has represented the ECHR clerk at seminars given to groups of visitors on the work of the Court clerk and on the Court’s case-law, and as a lecturer and expert on numerous occasions at external events. Doctor of Law, he completed his doctorate at the University of Strasbourg on the Convention European on Human Rights and has written a number of legal articles published in prestigious legal journals.
