INTERPOL is not an international police force, but an intergovernmental organisation known as the “International Criminal Police Organisation”.
It has 194 member states.
INTERPOL enables member states to exchange and access information on offences and offenders and provides them with technical and operational support.
INTERPOL’s headquarters are in Lyon.
There are three bodies within INTERPOL:

Law Office specialising in Interpol
INTERPOL issues several ‘notices’, which are called ‘notices’ according to their colour: red, black, green, blue and yellow.
The most important notice is the red notice, which calls for the international search and arrest of the person concerned.
It is possible that the red notice may be abused by certain countries, in violation of fundamental human rights and INTERPOL’s basic principles.
With our in-depth knowledge and solid experience, our law offcie is at your disposal to advise you and to take action before the Commission for the Control of Interpol’s Files in order to obtain the deletion of a red notice issued against you.
Sometimes people do not know whether a red notice exists against them.
It is true that only the most important Red Notices are published on the INTERPOL website and that the vast majority remain confidential.
Our law offcie can submit an access request to the Commission for the Control of Interpol’s Files in order to obtain information on whether or not a Red Notice has been issued against the client.
